God's Helping Hands-Teaching the Bible to kids through puppets, drama, and chalk artistry

Uncle Charlie		“Uncle Charlie” VanderMeer has served as a board member since 2000. Charlie and his wife, Bette, were married in 1956. They have three grown children, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. He has been involved in CBH Ministries/Children’s Bible Hour since 1956. He served as director for 27 years and is currently the Ambassador-at-large for CBH. Charlie also continues to be the voice on radio drama programs “Keys for Kids” and “Storytime.” He also has a “wooden friend” named Wally who goes with him to children’s programs where he does ventriloquism, dramatized stories and Gospel “tricks that teach.”
