Jeff and Robin Awe

Before becoming full-time missionaries at God's Helping Hands, Jeff and Robin Awe worked for several years in puppetry with GHH founders, Bob and Shirley Friedl, Robin's parents. Since joining as full-time staff in 1986, they have traveled with their family throughout the United States--first in a pop-up camper, then a 24-foot motor home, and finally in a 40-foot tour-bus-turned-R.V. Their seven children grew up working alongside them in this ministry playing parts in Bible stories, doing puppets, singing and helping move equipment from one place to another. Traveling around the country and to Peru and Venezuela sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been a great experience for this homeschooling family. Now that they are no longer part of a traveling team, Jeff leads the ministry as president. His responsibilities also include building props and stages as well as keeping the equipment, vehicles and home office building maintained. Robin continues to home school Jordan and helps with office duties or at the sewing machine as she is needed.
